Never Have Enough Time?

Read this.

First things first.

You have to understand that we ALWAYS have a choice, and we have time for what we prioritize.

My first question is this, and try not to get offended.

Do you not have time? Or are you just lazy.?

Be realistic, it may just not be a priority.

Let’s break this down. When I say you ALWAYS have a choice, what do I mean?

Many people do not understand when I say this “but but but Andrew, I have to go to work! My boss will fire me if I do that!”

So you’re telling me you would rather have a job than sleep in?

Good choice.

CHOICE.

See what I’m saying here?

“I don’t have time to workout! I get home late and have to get up in the morning.”

Okay? So you’re choosing to prioritize sleep over getting the workout in.

Let me be clear, I’m not criticizing. I get it, we all have different priorities and I can’t knock anyone for it.

I just need to get this principle drilled into your head.

You choose.

Don’t have time for your family? Your spouse? Your side business?

You are choosing to watch TV. To play video games. To scroll on your phone.

There is enough time in the day. You just are not prioritizing properly.

You are choosing different things that make you feel bad.

Understanding this principle and embracing it fully will give you POWER.

Take back your power, take back your agency and your choices.

You can live better and have time for everything that you want in your life, you simply need to make it a priority over all other things.

Some actionable steps to make this happen that have worked VERY well for me is to track it.

Whether it’s a list of top priorities I need to get done that day or habits I am trying to develop. Writing it down with a pen and paper has helped me tremendously.

I have certain things I need to do each day for me to know that it was a success. These are MY standards, these are the things that are the most important to me. These are the things that, when accomplished, I know I can go to bed with no regrets.
